The Interact Club at BMS is open to students in 7th and 8th grades.

In 2011-12, Batesville Rotary Club’s major International Service Project is ShelterBox USA. ShelterBox is the largest international disaster relief organization that provides shelter, access to clean water and lifesaving equipment immediately following a disaster.
ShelterBox instantly responds to earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, hurricanes, cyclones, tsunamis or conflict by delivering boxes of aid. Established in 2000, ShelterBox has responded to over 150 disasters in more than 70 countries to date.
Each box supplies an extended family of up to 10 people with a tent and lifesaving equipment to use while they are displaced or homeless.

In 2011-12, Batesville Rotary Club’s major Local Service Project is the Batesville Rotary Pay-It-Forward Fund with the Batesville Community Education Foundation.
It is our hope to help some students to receive needed supplies and other items throughout the school year. Further, we ask those students who are helped through this fund, when they are able, to “pay it forward” by helping someone else in a meaningful way.
