Batesville Rotary Club Projects and Activities:
- Youth Service Projects : Batesville Middle School Interact Club for students in 7th and 8th grades | Rotary Youth Exchange Sponsor for Katie Warmuth
- International Service Project (2012-13, 2011-12) : ShelterBox USA – Providing humanitarian aid in the form of shelter, warmth and dignity to people displaced by natural and other disasters worldwide
- Literacy Project (2012-13) : The Dictionary Project – We give a dictionary to each Batesville student in the Third Grade at both Batesville Intermediate and St. Louis Catholic schools.
- Community Festival : Earth Day / Arbor Day Celebration
- Local Service Project (2011-12) : Batesville Rotary Pay-It-Forward Fund – Batesville Community Education Foundation
- Regular donations to the Batesville Area Ministerial Association Food Pantry
- Ringing the bell for the Salvation Army
- Sponsoring author Dorothy Drummond at the Batesville Memorial Public Library
- Making donations for Polio Eradication and Disaster Relief
- Sponsoring a Kiva Lending Team to support Third-World entrepreneurs
- Co-sponsoring Batesville’s National Day of Prayer Breakfast with Batesville Lions and Kiwanis clubs
- Teaming with Batesville Quilters to ship quilts for children in the Rotaplast project
- Making and serving free coffee for Batesville’s Holiday Light Up the Town event
- Sponsoring a Polar Plunge Team to raise money for Special Olympics Indiana
Batesville Rotary Club Fundraisers:
- Batesville Rotary Club Golf Tournament – to raise funds for our local and international service projects!
- Selling 2012 Indianapolis and Cincinnati Entertainment Books
- Serving our famous kabobs and brats for lunch at Batesville’s Earth Day / Arbor Day Celebration and at Batesville’s Apple Festival
